I don't even have HALO3 yet but i beat it with my friend at his house. We started about a month after he got it ( wich was on the launch date), and it took us until about 3 weeks ago to finally beat it. If the insane difficulty of the game weren't enough, we were argueing the entire time. But we did it. Barely. Next we're going for legendary with all skulls activated. ( That's gonna SUCK.)
Anyway, that was a lot like the real, excrutiating, frustrating experience.
And in response to a reviewbelow mine: HALO Combat Evolved was definitely the hardest. I never even made it past the 3rd mission on heroic.

The game starts you out with one block. You have to collect all the chedda BEFORE you move your block into the green square. After a few levels you have to use to block wich move in tandem. After Lv.10, things get more difficult and you have plan ahead before you start moving. Good for a quick Flash fix if you're bored at work.

To author: the music sounds kind of familiar but I'm not sure.
